Why is it, when I'm standing alone I'm fine, but when someone stands near me I have the urge to fart?

humans subconsciously do this to attract others to subconsciously smell their arse.

The person will then take in the chemical smells and make up their opinion of you,and act accordingly.

It's safe to say if it's a marmitey smell..they will think you are a cunt.
