...mermaid thighs are now the thing apparently. Are there any other body trends we should be aware of?

"Ok I'll ask, what on earth are mermaid thighs"

I'm assuming it's some sort of conjoined, singular mass of thigh?

I always had a thing for the little mermaid. Though that could have been that she's a redhead.

Yes, the thigh gap backlash! I think it means shapely and curvaceous thighs are on trend. I am all for it, being a fan of the more traditional build!

Definitely an opportunity for more pics!

Traditional build.

Reminds me of Mma Ramotswe in Alexander Mcall Smith.

You don't have to be obese for your thighs to not have a gap.

I didnt know there was a name for it. I have thunder thighs regardless of how much weight I lose; it seems to be one of the areas I store fat. So now instead of bemoaning my chub rub I shall consider myself half woman, half fish instead.

You can have a thigh gap & still be of a 'traditional build'.....

I had to use my old friend goggle as haven't heard of mermaid thighs.

I always knew my thunder thighs would be in, one day.

I do sort of 'get' the mermaid allusion, but wouldn't use the expression myself. I would say most men like where you store your fat. Chub rub! I love it.

I knew there was a reason I was wearing my mermaid top today. To match my bottom (half)!

Why are men always thinking about different derogatory ways to put women down or make them feel inferior in some way or is it just me?

It is indeed, and I have no idea why they do it, does it make them feel better? Because I have seen so many comments hating the fact that on here the tables have turned and women have the pick of the bunch and a lot of men are left floundering, why don't they get a meet.... In my eyes it is pathetic
