Am I wrong to block those who just delete messages without reading. I know it's some people's way of saying thanks but no thanks, but a little message is nice

I do this. I take it as a "no" and it saves me messaging them again by mistake.

I often block delete my messages as I get so many espesially when I'm organising a social I need to concentrate on those messages only. The way i see it is if they are very keen they will message again. If they don't then never mind there's plenty more peeps on here. xxx

You could be cutting off your nose to spite your face though - a lady might have to block delete one week because she was manic at work, but the following week want to message you about something you said on the forum.

Yes. We block people we are not interested in. It is not rude. Neither is not replying to a message.

It might be what you put as the opening message that puts someone off or the fact that you haven't read their profile both, both reasons why I delete without reading but yeah do what you want.

I used to do this, then I would look at their profile and see that if I had contacting them, it would show it saying

"You messaged them 2 months ago" for example, then I simply don't message again

Look upon the block button as a futher extension of your freedom to do as you choose without having to worry about being judged on here.

Up to you basically fella

Do as you please, but we often delete messages from men if we're not looking for a man at that time or they don't fit a specific profile for a meet we want.

Doesn't mean they won't next time

Bisexuals

It's your profile. We use it as a filter, and block those: who send one liners, don't read the profile, who whine on updates, or who continually slag off people, or their looks etc. Saves us having to see it, or bother with them.

I tend to block people who come up in searches as looking for a TV....then when you go to drop a message....it won't send as they are not looking for your sex....total waste of time reading their profile again at a later date

True. But I'm stubborn and I like the satisfaction of hitting the block button

in the eye of the storm

"Am I wrong to block those who just delete messages without reading. I know it's some people's way of saying thanks but no thanks, but a little message is nice"

that's totally up to you but remember timing is everything OP .

I personally never block anyone even someone who is rude to me .

just because someone deletes your message after reading doesn't mean they don't like you although that could be the reason in some cases .

I think a reply to a message has a lot to do with timing if your timing is bad your message will get deleted but if you block that person they can never message you if you catch there eye at some point down the line maybe when their searching for a meet.

food for thought about blocking over a read but deleted message blocking but again its your choice so do as you will and feel comfortable with .
