Cyprus waiters

When we were in Cyprus last year the hotel bar had great night entertainment and as you all know the drinks keep flowing and the missis got to know the waiters very well I was down there most nights while she popped back to room for a quick room service ??

I've never been to a resort hotel where the staff were given time off mid-shift. Most seemed to work all hours (setting up and clearing and doing all sorts of jobs for hours before and after they were serving).

Given the professionalism of the hotels and the hotel staff I've encountered, I'd find that quite difficult to believe could happen regularly.
