Good morning fabbers, friends and forumites.

I hope you had pleasant dreams in the land of nod.

It's a beautiful new day. The sun came up in a crimson fury this morning.

On the news this morning was a piece about green prescriptions.

Your local GP or health trust prescribing outward bound adventures rather than drugs.

A walk in the countryside can help mental and physical health problems.

I adore being out in the beautiful wild places I live, I am jolly lucky.

So chums I am asking you.

Do you like to get out and about in the countryside, it has the added bonus of secluded places for photography .

I think they should a lot more of an holistic approach rather than handing out tablets. Our GP already has art classes and walking groups you can join. I've always thought they were behind on acupuncture , reiki, osteopaths etc. They can work brilliantly in conjunction with modern medicine. And time! Give patients more time.
