I gotta ask - how many of you are on here just to watch things miserably fall apart.

(hell even I will admit I like the downward flow sometimes)

when you see from day one someone has not only shot themselves in the foot but the nuts too and you watch just to see the (hopefully positive) backlash from people you know.

and here's the real question - can you give an example?

I'd love to know about (not the darker side but) the more self destructive threads

(no links please - I'm only interested in opinions)

I like to see people shoot themselves in the foot but then when they reveal the rest of their personality, the forum warms to them and accepts them. A perfect example a couple of months ago.

On the flipside..

The negativity and downright rudeness of some comes across very clearly on the forum, which is amusing when they constantly proclaim themselves to be so fucking friendly and likeable.....

I don't like tetchy. When the overwhelming air of tetchiness makes even me tetchy I really, really don't like it. So no imaginary thread popcorn here. I can't be arsed with it.

As a patter merchant, harmless banter is all I deal in!

However when the finest life decides to rise from the pond like frankensteins monster rises from the slab and sows the seeds of a risky opinion, it's pretty funny to watch those seeds sprout forth into a strong crop of ripe fabicide!

Then the combine harvesters that are the cynical and sarcastic lurkers of this fine forum, swarm like a biblical bunch of hungry locusts and go to work!

As you pointed out - its only an avatar (you should have seen my previous undies - damn they got some bad press)

I don't actually wear them all the time

(they do make my bum look nice and perky from behind tho)
