Which of all the English accents do we find most annoying

Mine is the Stoke accent

Just goes through me

And before the usual suspects start getting excited

I'm not saying I don't like the people

Just the accent

When I worked in the hi-de-hi holiday camp we had a young dundee KP who I became mates with.

We were debating something one day.

I was saying "you can't do that"

He's saying "I ken"

I'm like "No you can't"

He's going "I KEN I FUCKING KEN"

I'd never heard it before so I thought he was saying "I can "

We became best mates.

His name was jock

"Which of all the English accents do we find most annoying

Mine is the Stoke accent

Just goes through me

And before the usual suspects start getting excited

I'm not saying I don't like the people

Just the accent "

You're not allowed to speak about Birmingham derogatory like that.

No accent proper turns me off, but prefer softer variations, a soft Scottish or Irish accent on a girl does it for me.

I pretty much like all accents tbh. Although some are a little tender on the ears, but that's what makes people unique I spose!

"Has to be the jawdee accent. It's harsh crude loud and just irritating as fekk. Also the weegie accent too.

atleast pronounce Geordie right

Was spelling it the way they pronounce it

But that isn't how we pronounce it

Yes it is. I'm originally from Durham and I can't stand the jawdeeeee accent. Newcastle is a tiny part of the North East yet we all get tarred with the same shitty stick where everyone thinks we speak the same. "

It isn't. I'm central Newcastle born and bred, and that isn't how you say the word. A tiny part like...the regional capital?

Durham accent? You have my deepest sympathies.
