Spiders over a certain size.

Boggy ground..full on panic attack.

Other things scare me a lot but for actual phobias it's just these two.

Flying is a logical fear. Well hitting the floor afterwards is but you know what I mean.

I'm wary of escalators. Don't fancy my trouser leg or laces getting caught in one.

Don't really like anything with wings but moths and bats are my main ones.

Also not so much a phobia but I once watched something about people having momentary lapses of consciousness, then I used to get nightmares about it happening to me. Really dislike being anywhere that I could randomly be able to throw/drive myself off of.

Water.

Only sort of overcame it a few years ago by finally partially learning to swim.

Still have trouble breathing while swimming but I can hold my breath and do a width underwater.

From panic when water hit my face to tranquill calmness underwater.

Amazing.

I'll probably still drown at some point just to be ironic.

A world of my own

Noscomphobia. = fear of hospitals.

Its so bad I feel sick at the thought. I enter the car park and have to psych myself up to visit my mum. I only breath through my mouth not my nose as soon as I get to the entrance. I start to feel like I'm suffocating as soon as I walk in. I can't sit down on the chairs I have to stand. Within about 5 mins my skin is crawling and I want to throw up. My limit for a visit is usually about 15 mins. I then practically run out. I'm itchy all the way home. I have to go straight home as I need to shower and wash my clothes.

The few times ive had to be a patient I've just sobbed the entire time.

I am absolutely terrified of snakes, even looking at pictures frightens me but this is not a phobia,,,they bite you and inject eggs under you skin which hatch out in your brain and rot you from the inside,,,seems quite a rational fear to me,

I'm also quite afraid of height which really is an irrational fear, after all the danger is not up there. As long as you stay at height you are perfectly safe. The danger comes from being dashed to pieces on the jagged rocks below.

Oddly enough,I have never been afraid of the ground, though.Weird huh?

I've heard that too.

Would love to parachute or parascend. I've done 2 bungees.

I've done several thousand jumps (former Para) and yet I'm scared shitless of ladders! Heights don't bother me and I'll climb anything except a ladder.

I also have a phobia of multiple small holes, something Nell finds hilarious and loves showing me pictures she finds online to make me gag.

MrWho.

I did a bungee jump last year and the worst part was climbing the ladder and coming down the ladder! "

Ladders I do not trust, fallen from one and had one slip from under me.

A fear of heights is totally irrational, a fear of the ground is what you should have instead.

We're lucky, neither of us has any phobias.

I used to be scared of injections, almost to the point of a phobia due to a bad experience at the dentist as a child. However, I faced my fear and now just dislike them.
