What are people's views on incorrect ages being stated on profiles, is it a bad thing, does it matter?

Lots of people hit 40 then become 36 again.

Let's face it, we are never going to know they're real age.

Screams of laziness to me. Fab changes the age on a profile every year but sometimes people simply can't be arsed to change their profile text.

I tend to think if they're dishonest about that, they may be dishonest in other areas too.

why lie, but then some will do that to get past filters.

Maybe we should all put up our birth certificates as proof.

I found out the other day that I'm three months younger than Richard Gere. I'm happy.

I have met many men who have admitted to being 5 years older than their profile stated and yes it does piss me off! Because I then think what else are they lying about

Would prefer it if people were honest about their ages, what's the point of lying?

But I feel like I'm aging backwards.

Did they volunteer this at the meets or was it obvious when you met them?

Makes me laugh at the amount of people who do it. You look at their photos and think, really? Fuck, you must have had a hard paper round.

I prefer older men, but ones who can be honest about their age.

Yep we've been swinging for several years and seen many a profile who seem to have frozen.

If they have recent pictures and i think they look the age they claim then i don't see the issue. I'm not going to ask them to bring proof of age to the meet. If they turn up and they are obviously 10 years older and look nothing like their pics then it won't progress.

don't think it matters that much, although being a liar just to get sex from someone is off putting to me.

i don't look like i;m 43 so if someone wanted a mature looking woman then they might as well not bother with my age.

i'm looking for guys in their 30s mainly, and it is for looks, a fair amount of guys who message me look a lot older than they say they are.

If they lie about their age they will lie about anything. I get accused of lying about my age because i look about 13 lol! But im more than happy to show ID to prove i am in fact 28.

I don't think a year or two knocked off would make any difference, if someone felt that it may help them get meets...

its all relative isn't it?

as long as they don't take the piss and expect you to believe they have aged really badly its totally up to them

If I see a recent and accurate photo, and I fancy them based on that, then I don't really care if they've knocked a few years off their profile age; what difference does it make to me?

I think every single guy we have played with who is over 40 has shaved a few years off their age on their profile. Don't really care, it's not like it affects the fun we have.
