Yes, when in one with mates there seems to be a certain lack of male testosterone, oi mush you looking at me type attitude that one can encounter in some blokes when they've had half a lager..

Been to one in particular a few times and it's a decent night out once I got over the initial apprehension the 1st time around.

Inclusive, light hearted and just like most other clubs minus the roided knobheads.

If you are a couple, even a straight couple, they are far better. You don't get all the peacocks strutting around desperately trying to pick up women and inevitably starting a fight with the nearest guy when they fail.

To be honest - I've had far better nights in Gay bars/clubs than straight clubs. No dickheads, no agendas, a few looks but generally a great time whether it be Birmingham or Manchester...

I've had some fantastic nights out in the gay bars in Bristol. They are some of the top spots.

No agro from wanker meat heads, a beautifully relaxed atmosphere, genuinly friendly people, great music, what's not to love?!

I went to the Gay Village a lot when I did go Clubbing because I got a lot less and sometimes no hassle from guys wanting to fuck Brilliant night outs
