Love it. Only bit that made me squirm was when Barbara Stanwyck begs him to kiss her like a real woman with her false teeth making her drool..... Im glad of the directors cut....

I got it for mothers day a few years back its just on two dvd's. When you watch it back to back its not as exciting as the installments on tv.

Richard Chamberlaine is gay? I honestly didnt know that.

I remember watching the Thorn Birds about 100 years ago it seems. I read the book too, other than the priest element and illicit love, I cant remember what else happened
