BMW F650 the paris to dakar original model.

Built to eat miles and it certainly has done. 65k, still going strong.

And it has been known to leave some of the larger bikes standing too

Nice bikes!

My road riding history went LC,YPVS,NS400R then ummed & ahhhhd about an RG or RD500 but went for a 750Slabside Gixxer instead.

Had a yellow 900SL for a while which led to my first TL (I've had 3)..

Starter bike, Honda CA. Only a 125 but have got the fear when it comes to doing the theory stuff that comes with upgrading.

To be fair I love the bike anyway, looks great, comfortable as fuck on long drives and since I'm not allowed on motorways the speed thing isn't such an issue.

Only thing I'd change is the choke, bike stalls at lights for the first 5 minutes of every journey unless I rev it for ages before and I don't want an ASBO.

I can second that, did the first part of my licence on one (I was learning when they brought in the changes and they swapped us onto Hornet 600s)

Surprisingly quick, and absolutely idiotproof to ride. Ugly as sin though. At least the old ones they had were
