Happy September!

I love autumn, can't wait to get the kids back to school, start wrapping up in hats and thick socks (already knitted my hat for this season), light a big log fire and start making stews.

What do you love about autumn?

As a photographer, I love doing portrait sessions and weddings at this time of year. Great sunlight, golden colours in the parks and gardens.

Easter just around the corner!

Nothing I can think of at this moment in time,I hate being bundled up in layers of clothing,I hate the cold,I hate the dark nights and closing the curtains early,I hate having to put the heating on. It takes me a while to adjust!

I second boots! Ooh. I get to dig out my warmer dresses. A big coat too.

I love the drawing in of darker evenings. Proper hot meals for dinner again.

A good old fashioned dirty weekend is on the horizon. I love Autumn

Picking hedgerow fruit, rabbiting with my ferrets, less time at work and more with my loved ones, mushroom pickin, frost patterns, crunchy leaves and being back in long trousers. Long nights in with a good book or stood at the stove, long lays in with snuggles, breath on the air the excuse to buy a new coat

Walking our dachshund in Autumn/winter is hilarious at times.

Two inch of ground clearance makes piles of leaves or snow a full on obstacle course
