Too good to be true

Maybe others see you as too good to be single, as you should have been snapped up. Little do they know I'm a bit of a slapper -it could be their (wrong, of course) opinion.

What is it that others don't they know about you, that might alter their perceptions?

because i'm nice, friendly, and allow myself to be vulnerable, i think i a lot of guys are surprised they can't easily use me.

as for girlfriend material, i think they don't see me as that unless they are fucked up in the head and needy and then they do.

I used to get this a lot by not only family members and friends but strangers on here too. (About being single)

Erm!!! Maybe I want to be single, maybe I want lots more fun before I settle, because let's face it, I'm not going to settle for just anything cause you think I should be snapped up by now.

They often think... What's wrong with you!?

It has been said that I am in real life like I am in the forums.

There is a lot that would surprise people though. It's one thing I like about myself, the ability to surprise.

I tend to find my sense of humour is lost in translation and often people take offence when no offence was intended especially if we have been bantering back and forth for a while and you think hey get your humour then that chance remark gets u blocked and u think what the fuck lol

yes u can't hang all your quirks out there some need to be discovered and you can only have them find what they are by actually coming and meeting u.its hard to get to know someone intimately through a keyboard.

This post was partly inspired by my couple of months here in the USA - I've lost count of how many times people struggle to accept that I'm single.

So many people on fab adore their single life - me included. Perhaps this bunch of us is loosely connected in a huge polyamorous relationship together.

too many to mention,,people on here and tbh any walk of life presume a lot.

I act the clown,,but I'm not,,but hey I tend to keep folk at arms length.

I'm always told i'm too nice. I think everyone who knows me in real life would be very shocked if they knew i was on fab. An old phrase springs to mind - "the quiet ones are always the worst"
