But if you were switching the torch on and off, as we do with just about everything, then the "expensive" battery would only last about the same time as a cheap one due to the chemical reactions having started. The moral is use cheap batteries from Poundland, you save a fortune and never notice the difference. You get the same buzz for your bucks.

I buy by the ply rather than by the roll. Too few and there's risk of breakage. Too much and there's the risk of your rectum suddenly sprouting a tiara and declaring itself as nobility, demanding a silver tray and horse doovers
