I'm meeting guys, when I have the energy to make myself look and feel as good as I can/want to. So, ergo, I'm not meeting right now because I'm knackered.

I'm knackered because I work full time and I have a horse who doesn't groom, feed, exercise himself or turn himself out (fortunately I don't have to muck him out). These things mean I am rarely home before eight at night, and I still have to feed myself and do all the household stuff that we all do. Being disabled, most things take me probably at least three times as long as someone non - disabled. I'm not whinging that's just life.

If I want to meet during the week, I need to really motor, and getting up at six thirty means the meet won't last long simply so I can get a decent nights sleep to do an effective job. So that means weekends only for meets. I still have the house and horse to do though and I want/need a lie in as well as seeing my friends and family. So shoot me.

I have several meets lined up, but they're in the future and I'll build in the time to make myself as presentable as possible. Unfortunately unlike some women, I need make up snd ask the other beauty things, to look and feel good about myself enough to hope the guy I'm meeting will want to fuck me.

I'm not looking for pity, I was merely wondering if anyone else feels similarly, wanting to look ones best, to feel as desirable as possible, but despairs at not having the energy or time to give ones best to a potential guy they're meeting for the most successful outcome.

I'm pretty sure Ive turned down one guy that has now tried to turn it back on me by trying making me feel this is unacceptable, I couldn't give a shit.

I do feel for you in your busy schedule.

I know women like to make up, but I for one like to see the lady without the make up the fineries. After all its the person we've come too see.

As for not mucking out, I went with a stable girl once that smell is pretty hard too disguise. So you are lucky there.

Work & life can get in the way of fun and we all sometimes feel knackered, unmotivated and just can't be bothered to do anything outside of the work/sleep cycle, you are not alone.

Maybe think about an "off the cuff" meet where one afternoon you say to yourself "right We are going to meet someone tonight" and we do it and it kinda re-energizes us and is a great pick me up,

I certainly understood you and know exactly what you mean.

A couple of the posters on that thread clearly had issues of some sort but everyone else got it.

Yes, I've posted before about sometimes wanting to do spontaneous meets but not being/feeling able to because it takes me at least a few hours to feel adequately groomed and prepared for a meet.

I have sleep issues and other health problems that also leave me tired a lot of the time, which doesn't help. I don't keep myself as maintained as I would like as a result. Some days I struggle even to do the basics and I'll neglect to do things for myself so I can take care of my cats.

There is always child labour exploitation. For a pocket money sized fee, you could pay someone who is horsey mad, to help turn your horse out occasionally to enable you to get home earlier

Completely get this.

With work, kids and other commitments we both often feel like this.

We had planned to go a club Saturday night, had sitter sorted to have them overnight at theirs.

By the time we got sorted after school uniform shopping, visiting family, getting the kids fed, bathed and dropped off at the sitters, we were too tired to get sorted and go to the club.

I'm with you all the way. I like to be prepared and don't always feel like spontaneous meets. If a guy wants to meet you and feels strongly, then he will wait for your "perfect moment" when you have had the time to make yourself ready and prepared. Just think; then it would all be worth the effort. If a guy won't be patient, then they aren't worth your beautiful company.

My September resolution is to keep on top of my grooming so it's a series of small jobs rather than a mammoth, Herculean task. Half an hour with the epilator and I now have only half a growler. It's a good look.

Totally agree with you. I have an autoimmune issue whuch causes horrific fatigue and can fluctuate day to day. Along with working full time there are days I can just about get myself dresses let alone primp and preen in preparation for a meet.

I've had a bad experience with an epilator on more than one occasion, which may be colouring my view.

I'm um rather um fleshy down there

Fleshy areas can be badly suited to the use of epilators. Sections of skin can become pinched and trapped between the rotating bit and the edge of the device.

It's happened enough times that epilating there no longer happens under any circumstances.

If I ever decide to use a different method of hair removal there, I can guarantee it won't be my epilator.

Hi, Just a thought but an exgf rode someone's horse for free, The owner was too busy during the week to do it with work & other stuff taking up her time. So my gf would muck him out, groom, change straw whatever during the week & was allowed to ride him Tues/Thurs. She could go for a bit of a walk anyday but a proper ride/gallop only on the above days. The owner would ride & do the jobs at the weekend..

Wondering if this would work with yourself?

Thank you, I can't let others ride him. It's complicated but basically it's excellent physio for me and we compete, so we need to train together, but thank you

I don't think it's an uncommon thing that the OP is feeling. Sometimes i'd love to meet but by the time i get home, i'm beat. I work twelve hr shifts. If i'm on days, i'm up at 5am and don't get back from work until 7.30. That's if i come straight home after. If i'm on nights, i'm up at 4 or 5pm and back next morning around 7.30am. Then into bed! Although, i would like to meet. I just don't have the time to give to someone else. When there are more important things to me, that i want to spend my free time on. Like family, friends and me.

I know we all get ourselves spruced up for a meet but i wouldn't think that the OP needs any makeup to look pretty. From your pics, you have a natural beauty that doesn't require any. Just an observation. Nothing else and no offense intended.

When i first looked at your profile, I thought you were absolutely stunning. I haven't changed my thought on that either. There are so many women on Fab. I understood exactly what you were saying in the previous threads OP Lady T. Took a very bizarre and unnecessary turn, pity they never took the time to read it properly before looking the fool.

So to answer that question.

I have been in a can't be arsed mood about meeting for a few months, so I haven't. Hubby asks if I fancy going to our favourite club, I think about it for 10 seconds, list the things I need to do to get ready and just can't be bothered. Seems like too much effort, PJs in front of the TV is so much easier.
