So I've been thinking this morning whilst on the forums about memorable threads from days gone by. Thought I'd ask which ones have stuck in your mind.

Mine has to be

1. Show your face threads which filled up to part 26 or something quicker than any thread I've seen before.

2. Knitting needles on an aeroplane

3. Can't name it but it got removed yesterday

There's always a clique wherever we are. School - college - work - pub. It's called close friends , for somebody to feel it's an issue is very sad. I never got chose to play for MUFC because of their 'clique'. Bastards, but I got over it.

Mine has to be

I do not take fab threads too seriously . However one thread stands out for me . A member asked for guidance and advice and I was one of many who replied .

The advice given was obviously appreciated and the member concerned wrote to me with a very detailed reply and a much more detailed analysis of the circumstances concerned . I was touched at the effort to which they went , especially as I always admired the efforts which they made with other family members .

Many of the political threads are very memorable ,but those are probably dangerous grounds to revisit .

Those that will be remembered for the wrong reasons are those who propose to undertake any form of sexual activity within church grounds or grave yards . In both cases the ground is sacred .

The original poster will be remembered for giving extremely helpful advice on a number of diy matters
