Mine stays in bed until lunch time, then spends the majority of the afternoon humping it. Dirty little cow. Some have suggested it's learned behaviour poppycock!

We don't have pooches, but we have four legged creatures.

For today though, we embrace and celebrate the joys a pooch can bring to their hoomans.

Taff, good to see you again. Hugs to the pooch.

I love my two dogs so much. My life wouldn't be the same without them. I have too many stories to share so I'll keep them to myself and give them an extra cuddle instead

My old boy is getting close to the 1 way trip to the vets. His arthritis is getting the better of him now, as well as being partially blind and deaf, and is still pining for my grandma.

He's nearly 16, so done well for a puppy my grandma bought from a boot fair as he had no shade or water and a badly docked infected tail.

I don't have any pets but I recently dog sat for a friend's brother's two dogs and they were gorgeous.

So friendly and loving, they really helped me to de-stress although the puppy did eat the inner lining of one of my sandals

The face of an angel, the mind of a devil

I've got 2 boxers and about to get a 3rd from a rescue centre. The 2 I have are beautiful dogs, great with kids and lovely pets. They are also fucking daft, like seriously daft... One knocked himself out by running into the patio doors as he saw the other inside the house.

Though I have to add not as daft as me getting a third!!!

2 Springers and a staffy here.

Just had them to Malham Tarn (Yorkshire Dales) for the morning.

The springers were just looning around in the river and the waterfalls - the staffy stayed glued to me.

Ice cream treat then back home.

Had a Jack Russell terrier that reached 15. I got her when she was 16. Such a big loss as she was part of the transition to adulthood. It's been 5 years and we're still not sure about getting another dog.

patch is a parsons Russell, he was 8-12 months when my grandma rescued him, he came to me in march when she died, but he's missing her and his health complaints are stacking up. I have another dog, a staffy I rescued last yr, and looking for another as Rory doesn't like being on his own.

Havant

Ours is a 10yr old lurcher bitch. Talk about laid back couch potato. Most of the time she can't be arse'd to greet you and when she lays on her back across 3 seater sofa I have to sit on the floor. Something not right with that last comment...

They have such a capacity to keep fighting, Parsons/Jack Russell terriers. I remember her walking round the house and just suddenly collapsing, then making herself comfortable, with this expression that sort of said 'I intended to do that'
