Maybe she only wants to meet verified people, so she can be verified.

My first meet was unverified, so we couldn't verify each other. As I don't meet many men, it was a while before I was verified. In that unverified period, I used to get mails suggesting I was fake, because I was a single woman, been on nearly a year, yet not verified.

Maybe she left because she was inundated with messages and it put her off. Maybe 'she' was a fake. What does it matter?

I think the site would be far better if you couldn't see and actively search for new profiles.

So many people must leave just because of how the more predatory members bombard them with messages hoping to get in first

Do despite your op criticising her profile you still gave it your time. Why was that? Desperation? Excitement at someone,anyone replying to messages?

I am not sure why the man is getting such a hard time, I have seen many a thread where someone was discussing an unverified no pic female profile which was nothing like this at all, in fact quite the opposite and was more steer clear.

Once you've devoted your time to a woman by messaging, and she's replied, she must meet you or she's wasted your time?

Women aren't allowed to change our minds?

Do you realise how you sound?

If you'd arranged a meet and she'd not shown up, that would be wasting your time.

As for just chatting, a lot of messages are going to come to nothing. Getting pissy because you exchanged some messages and it didn't work out is ridiculous.
