I was told many years ago that pampas grass growing in someone's front garden was a secret sign that swingers live at the house. Is that true or an old wives tale?

Essex.

I dug a large pampas grass out of my grandparents front garden about 30 years ago...

Obviously once they got into their 70s they decided to give up swinging...
