Good luck for anyone's kids that may be receiving their GCSE results tomorrow, such a daunting day for them. Remember, of they don't get what they'd hoped for its not the end of the world there's so many options now.

Ill be collecting a maths resit result - I have a C but need a B to get onto a PGCE course

Sending good luck cwtches to all x

Good luck hun. It's never too late to gain extra qualifications.

I gained 4 A levels aged 46.

And a first class honours degree, 89%. The highest grade in our cohort, and yes I am very proud of that acheivement, aged 49.

My cousin got her A-Level results back last week and is now in America waiting to start her course at Yale University!

My other 2 cousins get their GCSE results today-fingers and everything crossed for them and all the others getting their results today!

I struggled doing my GCSEs and was so relieved when it was all over!

Good luck!!!

That's truly fantastic.

I did undergraduate and postgrad degrees 25 years ago, but am contemplating returning to education.

I didn't get any decent grade GCSE qualifications but that didn't hinder my progression in work.

I went to college, studied hard in something I believed in, had a passion for and was bloody good at.

Have had my dream job for the past 14 years. Just goes to show that grades and university isn't necessarily everyone's thing.

GCSEs are not necessarily the Be all and end all of things.

Keep going - these papers are not easy & all results are down this year. You're a lot braver than me!!! How soon can you resit? I know if you are within 3 marks they automatically remark papers. My friend (40) got her much needed C for midwifery
