Profiles - picture or text first

Just wondering what you all look at first on a persons profile ... picture or their profile text ... And if you have a preference ... Why one before the other ?

It's text for me ... Nothing worse than brilliant pictures then finding out you have zero in common

Pictures usually the first thing you see, but I read the text to check compatability, likes, etcetera.

Pictures.

That way if the profile text is a bit lame I can go back and gawp at the pecker again, and leave the profile on a positive note

If it's someone within my mileage radius then age requirements would be the first thing, no point reading further if I don't match their criteria, then profile text, followed by photos, then verifications to see if they are meet verifications as opposed to cam.

If its someone who has caught my eye, ie forums, most fabbed and they are miles away so I am unlikely to meet them, then photos before text.

Pictures. The photos people take and choose to display reveal a lot about them - as much as, if not more than, their profile text.

My routine goes something like:

Username, height, photos, text, verifications.

Pictures.

I look at who they are looking for first, then pictures, then I read their profile, and if I'm curious I might glance at the height section, though I don't usually.

I don't find myself looking at verifications much anymore, and sometimes I even forget they are there.

Pictures first and if that's a bad thing well what can be done, I ain't prepared to stick my poker into an ice cold fire place but then again I would also enjoy some sort of enjoyable communication

I look at the personal details first, sexual orientation, smoker etc, then pics if that matches what we want, then text last if the pics look ok

Profile, send a message if it really catches my attention. Then get pointed out by the wife that I really should look at the pics too
