Did you know that Wednesday is named after Woden the most important God in German Mythology. The Norse equivalent is Odin. So today is my day - bow down to me lol

What other weird facts that nobody would know can you share with us?

"Most days of the week are named after Roman or Greek gods op! "

Ish...

Monday = Moon day

Tuesday = Tyr's day (god of war)

Wednesday = Woden's day (or Odin's day, god of all sorts of nonsense)

Thursday = Thor's day, god of lightning

Friday = Freya's day (goddess of love)

Saturday = Saturn's day (Roman god of agriculture)

Sunday = pretty self-explanatory

That's not quite true a police offer can shield you and not arrest you for public exposure or urinating in public or at least that's what I was told when in desperate need of a wee at 9 months and no where near a loo.

The visible planets are also named after Roman gods. Though their previous names were Greek. Apart from ours which is basically named after what the surface is made of.

My odd fact is that Francis Drake sailed half way round the world in The Pelican but then re-named it the Golden Hind for the rest of the way.

To do your 9 times table just guess like this

1x9= 0

2x9= 1.

3x9= 2.

4x9= 3.

5x9= 4.

6x9= 5.

7x9= 6.

8x9= 7.

9x9= 8.

mmmm that don't look right.

I'll just go back up the other way 1to9

.

1x9= 0 9

2x9= 1. 8

3x9= 2. 7

4x9= 3. 6

5x9= 4. 5

6x9= 5. 4

7x9= 6. 3

8x9= 7. 2

9x9= 8. 1

.

Worked out alright that guessing Malarkey

However, in French for Wednesday (Mercredi, fr. Lat. dies Mercurii "day of Mercury"), reflecting the fact that the Germanic god Woden during the Roman era was interpreted as "Germanic Mercury".

The Japanese for Wednesday translates as ‘Water day’ as the planet Mercury was known as the ‘water star’

I think what you mean is that the numbers of the answer of the multiplication will always add up to 9 ( up to 10 x 9 anyway)

1 x 9 = 9

2 x 9 = 18 (1+8=9)

3 x 9 = 27 (2+7=9)

4 x 9 = 36 (3+6=9)

5 x 9 = 45 (4+5=9)

6 x 9 = 54 (5+4=9)

7 x 9 = 63 (6+3=9)

8 x 9 = 72 (7+2=9)

9 x 9 = 81 (8+1=9)

10 x 9 = 90 (9+0=9)
