Yep, remember pre www and http, remember the advent of JANET and lived through the development of the www.

Much too young to remember the birth of the internet in the early 50s - not to be confused of course with the www.

its invention didn't affect me one way or the other, and certainly didn't affect the work I did then or made it any better...or worse

I had used Telex in the 80s so the advent of the web and email just made everything easier.

I didn't use JANET but I was aware of the 'modern/with it' lecturers at the Uni where I worked using it for the first time.

I remember a client insisting we communicated via Pegasus email, I remember thinking how bizarre, why type when you can get an instant answer on the phone

Now no one uses the phone unless it's to chase up payments.

I remember my first email dont know who it was to. But it had taken me 6months to work out how to send one. Id nevef even switched a computer on before i got mine
