If you aren't in some posse, club, clique or other, does that mean that your comments are ignored? If so, why bother if not interested in other peoples views? Narrow minded?

As far as im aware all posts get answered equally. I for one answer everything im interested in regardless of whose posted it.

Well ive just gone down the whole forum list and cant find any thread apart from this one that youve started. Two last posts on two threads in the last hour are yours but then only three other threads have been posted on of which one is this one. Am i missing something??

I think she's referring to the ones she posted on, not started herself.

Zoe, most of the delinquents using these forums are recovering from getting their arses shagged off on Sat (or in the case of the men, still trying to stop their legs from trembling hehehe).

As for posse's and cliques: if you're a lass you are in the Pusse Possy (know affectionately as a 'dave') and if you're a geezer ur a Doris.

There's no big conspiracy, just join in the banter. We don't bite but we don't suffer fools gladly either. Same as any social group anywhere really.

ive always found ths forum quite friendly and have posted things which have been replied too, sometimes people agree or disagree, but its always done politely, i,m not a dorris and dont want to be one, and mrs is not and doesnt want to be part of a posse, but as a way to exchange ideas with like minded friendly people, who may have a bit of experience in a situation you might find yourself in as a swinger, the forum is a really nice usefull place

ps thats note to condem dorris,s or posse members, just not for us

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you start the 'Bullies' thread that got 81 replies to it? That doesn't sound like people are ignoring you.

A forum isn't just a place for posting random text, it has a camaraderie, a sense of community as demonstrated by the 200+ people that attended the social on Saturday night so to say this is the worst forum you've ever used is to say that we are the worst people you've ever seen using one.

there are a few ignorant folk on here which is the same as other forums you just need to put up with that im afraid, but there are nice people out there too, dont paint everyone with the same brush, ive had lots of ignorant people & to be honest felt like i was being ignored too but the few nice people there is make it worthwhile

I've only been using these forums for just over a month, and never once felt outside of a clique.

Hi not friendly on here

Open your eyes, this weekends outing was all about friends gathering to help a fellow friend

The concern shown over someone else who has been in hospital the same.

If you have a concern and you air it, people rally round to offer support and advice, I know cos it happened to me.

Seems to me your the ones with the problem as to regards the forums... You started one post slating us all.. how we were all sado's being here on a Saturday night.. yet came in yourselves with your 'meet'me now'running lol... Now this?? some clubs groups are like that.

As genrally we are a soft swing couple, you can find the same if you are not a full swing ouple, as soon as you say that your soft swing then you tend to find people couples that full swing do not talk too you.

but you just have to get on with have fun by yourselfs

Its not exclusive to anything though.. Forums clubs anything. Yet to meet anyone that shares everthing with neighbours.. people in the street etc.. Its life.. some get along others don't.. Some make themselves 'exempt' by the very things they say...

I don't think anyone who gets along with the flow of things gets treated or made to feel any different here than anyone else...

Could name loads of new people who sit and enjoy the banter just like anyone else...

I don't post much, but have found this place to be friendly and have got helpful replies.

I have been on some forums (not swinging) and seen people ripped to bits for having a different opinion.

Well i personally have found these forums very quickly acceptable of any new people.

Some strggle to join in at first as sometimes the banter happens quickly and when the "quote" button is used it can appear that one person has been leap frogged.

This is not always intentional, and a good decent or funnny or contarversial post usually gets the banter going.

I know what you mean. I think it's people trying to cop off with some poster, make a good impression with them, rather than any useful comments regarding the thread topic. But it's good fun, and enjoy. Top Tip, don't worry too much about the other people, they are old enough and wise enough to take care of themselves. So post as appropriate and build up a mental image of what the people are like by their attitude in the forums

It’s a bit like a country pub in Dingle land. There are some people who are mistrusting as they have been here since there teens. There are others that flit in and out as time allows. You do have to be careful or it can take over far too much of your time though.

Clique is probably to strong a word to use but like forums all over you can get what’s called farmer mentality “Get off my land” attitude till people trust you.

But that is common in life all round. You wouldn’t walk into a pub and start talking to a small group of people in a corner you didn’t know. You chat to the barmaid first.

Everyone on this forum started the same way,including those people who are in a "clique" "posse" or what ever you want to call it,making their first post,joining in the banter and having a laugh or by sticking to the more serious subjects

Those that do nothing but post and whinge about the people who post on here will get less of a good response than those who just jump in and join in with the discussion

The simple thing to do if you think we're so sad and need to get a life is stop posting........if I did'nt like it on here I would'nt post and neither would anyone else and as the forums are quite busy some of the time then they can't be that bad

Cheer up people and join in with a smile instead of a frown xx

Ok, when i joined this site I only knew 2 people on the site. I jumped in the forums and started responding to posts. Within a few days i was (or think i was) accepted into the fold. Saturday night i went to the social, there was less than 20 people there that i had met before. Come the end of the night i think i had chatted to nearly everyone and have had pms since returning to say how nice it was to have met me.

Now where all gobby and opiniated on the boards. We can dislike something someone says on one thread. Go to the next thread and you will agree with them completly. Now if you are going to start negative posts what do you expect.

If you think all forums are bad then why post on them.
