What's your Olympic highlight?

Rotherham

What's the one overriding memory you'll take from Rio? What was your highlight? Was it a particular person, an event or maybe something else?

My favourite moment would be the GB ladies hockey team winning gold. After the match when they were all arm in arm, flags draped over their shoulders, running around the pitch was wonderful to see. Their team spirit and comradery couldn't help but make you feel immensely proud. I can only hope the England football team were watching and taking notes. That boys is what a real team looks like.

So many wonderful sporting moments though.

Max Whitlock in the Gymnastics. Laura Trott was incredible.

I also enjoyed watching an independent athlete win in the shooting.

Ledeckeys 800m freestyle swim. What an amazing swim and a world record as well as retaining her gold metal at the age of 19 yr old. What a future she has in front of her now!

I didn't watch any of it. Again.

I do feel like I'm missing out a bit as people seem to get really excited over it.

Oh yes. Unless you're Welsh, then the footy was great

Too many highlights to select one for me.

Women's hockey, fantastic to see . The back stories in so many of the athletes amazes me.

Mo' double , having been there for super Saturday in 2012 was special.

The cycling and rowing dominance again . It's a great period is British sport right now.

Usain Bolt putting his name alongside Pele and Muhammad Ali as one of the 3 most famous people in the world history of Sport...

The 200m semi final where Bolt lets DeGrasse cross the line with him, both laughing...

Mo Farah for his gold and being the greatest British athlete in history...

Nicola Adams for her dedication and belief in herself, a true fighter who deserves more than the gold she won...

The two Irish fellas being inter_iews after they had won their medal.

Comedy gold, both had me in stitches.

And unfortunately the Irish boxer being swindled out of a win, it seems even Olympic judges can be bought.

Can't separate the Brownlees that brothers in arms moment and the Women's Hockey for sheer edge of the seat excitement. They are proper gladiators. I also love Laura Trotts disposition. See is just a lovely person as well as a fantastic athlete.

Great job GB

Well I know it's hardly in the Olympic spirit and I *really* don't like to revel in others failures, but it's always nice to see the Aussies crushed at a major sporting event after all the pastings and Pom-bashings they've given us over the years isn't it?
