Yep I do that and fluff them first but usually rub what looks like congieled semen over the top of each potato to get good crispage but you're saying the chicken fat will get the same result? Right it's on your head this is!

You can't really see but they're crisping so good, even better than when I use dripping. Think I'll do them in just chicken juice all the time!
