Anyone appreciate Roger waters herew?

if so, whats your favourite track, although that's a fairly impossible question to answer

I would go for a full album instead

Im fairly sure I have an old VHS copy of that buried somewhere. Damm good album. It is what I call a rollercoaster album, emotionally sucks you in, drags you downwards, then as a finale swoops your emotions right up to the sky and leaves you feeling euphoric.

Marillions Misplaced Childhood is similar.

That's what I saw it on...Have you ever thought of getting it transferred to DVD? Tried on youtube but there's only a few snippets and really want the whole thing.

Yes indeed the pros & cons of hitchhiking is an excellent album which runs like a story book, Eric Clapton on guitar is good aswell

Hi, I will try to see if I can dig it out. It's one of those things. I go through fads of transferring a bunch of vhs stuff then get bored of it as im a perfectionist so like to title it up and all sorts.

If i get it dug out and transferred will send you a message and can sort out getting you a copy.

His first solo album I have always felt is so beautiful and very emotional. It really surprised me to read about how he didn't think he would do very well as a solo artist out of Floyd.

I guess the years of being "in the shadow" of Roger even though he wrote a lot of the material may have affected his confidence in that way.

Sure Roger was a mixed up guy with some bad hangups, and did treat the other hand members pretty badly at times.

However, he was also an original founding member, without him a lot of what they did would never have happened.

They all made up the whole that created the amazing thing called Pink Floyd (name came from an amalgamation of two of Rogers favourite artists at the time).

Oh, and I do agree Dave Gilmour is a brilliant guitarist and musician.

Having seen both play live, I have no intention of paying to see Gilmour again unless he has a personal invite from the great Mr Waters.

Roger Waters is amazing live as are all of the band that played with him on the "In the Flesh" tour

Sadley I cannot say the same about David Gilmour's present live performances

I like waters he's a great musician,i like Gilmour as well and nick mason is a fantastic drummer.

However like many, the parts are never as good as the sum total

I love his music (both solo and with Pink Floyd). Seen him a few times, live.

I'm not so keen on him, but he does seemed to have mellowed a bit with age. That or I've just got immune to him.
