I'd call it a massive bad joke with no punchline.

"

We also plan to expand the night time service to parts of the Metropolitan, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines once our modernisation programmes are complete. Additionally, services could operate on parts of the London Overground in 2017 and the Docklands Light Railway by 2021

"

so not much point even though its 1 year late

Come to Glasgow - you can do that on the outer circle and if you're very lucky, the inner circle.. !

It sort of leads on from this news article today:

http://metro.co.uk/2016/08/19/the-evergrowing-list-london-nightclub-closures-is-completely-unacceptable-6078670/

Half its purpose has been lost.

People work at night. They need to get home. It is our capital city. It can't be a bad thing.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

They're showing the tube still running on the London news... when it would be running anyway at this time.

I do hope they'll give me updates throughout the night as my line is one of the lines running.
