We were thinking flowers:

I thought 'Rose' for stop,

'Daisy' for ease off and (wait for it)

'Pansy' for do it harder!!!

I do think it is important in a new relationship to use safe words as you may not know your own limits, so you need to be able to convey your thoughts and feeling safely and efficiently if you're not managing ..providing you're not gagged of course!!!

"

Safe words aren't much use if you are gagged. Tap out is a non verbal alternative.

If I'm with a new person, my safe word is balloon. I tend not to use safe words though.

traffic light system always works and never changes. Red always means danger or warning as a universal colour. In the BDSM community 90% of people I know use this. I've never ever used my safe word though got close but he took notice of my body language and eased off

Tap out is when your unable to verbally communicate. There are other ways also. But the person giving should be experienced enough to look at you and take your body language etc into consideration also

The thing is with safe words they are ok if your just 1-1 but if your swinging or doing any other type of group couple sex their needs to be a universal safe word otherwise you forget , so if your in a group setting etc pushing boundaries 'strawberries or mum' just dosent mean anything whereas RED AMBER(universal for stop slow down) is well known

It's ok for soft play in the bedroom but if your doing bdsm edge play or pushing boundaries it's not a thing to take lightly

The person who is giving should also be aware of body language etc,

That's where clicking my fingers works brilliantly. Hubby will often say 'she'll click her fingers', but, if he forgets, the protagonist will pretty much always stop anyway, because it's such a weird thing to do during a sexual situation!

Yes to that , it's all about awerness and tuning into how your sub bottom little etc is behaving. Anyone with experience will know to look for body language , not just a safe word x

he understands you and your body language sometimes safe words fale if they are silly but ultimately should never be used. I've only ever used Amber before but it wasn't vocally it was by a tap and eye contact he knew to ease off. It's had for others to understand if they can't comprehend , but things can go wrong have gone wrong unless the person in control understands and is aware of his/her sub and sorrroundings

I use red & amber but I have never used them yet.....it is easier when you play in a group if everyone uses the same words and we find BDSM very often do and others have random words or none

Bad wolf = slow down

Big bad wolf = stop

Bad wolf is 2 syllables, and big bad wolf is 3, they are easily represented by ah ah, and ah ah ah, when ball gagged, plus I like Dr who OK!
