Do you think I'm vain if I am trying to look after myself? Weight training at 56? been doing it about 2 weeks now and it's bloody hard work lol!! bench pressing 30kg at the moment & on Incline. Any other older blokes think the same?.

Lift as heavy as you can, do deadlifts and squats, don't wank in the stream room

Mrs NbN here, good for you OP taking the step to start lifting.

I enjoy lifting, want to be stronger though.

Currently I can deadlift 125kg, squat 100kg and bench 50kg.

It's good, at the end of the day we all have to start somewhere. When I started lifting I could only deadlift 40kg!! And OP I'm 35 (female half!!) so you're over 20 years older than me

I think I could bench press more But I don't want to run before I can walk lol!!

I train every day it's brilliant plus they have found out if u lift heavy weights u live longer
