Living 250 miles from my other half sucks but I've had the pleasure of spending almost two weeks with him down south with my children too, it's been wonderful.

Tomorrow is our last full day and I feel like cooking something a bit special for us all for tea time.

Looking for suggestions, nothing too wild as ideally the sprogs will eat with us too. I've got mince in the freezer and loads of sausages but the supermarket isn't far so theoretically anything.

Hit me with some ideas folks. No shellfish or fish.

Anyway a good suggestion for you and albie if you're up to do it perhaps have a nice steak with some vegetables, chips and pepper corn sauce and a nice milk shake..

Either that or maybe have a nice pizza? all the best young grass hopper..

Thankyou for the ideas folks. Slightly ashamed to admit I cooker the kids a beautiful tea of marinated garlicky lemon chicken, pilau rice and veg... Whilst us two have just ordered takeaway
