As a kid a nougat wafer from one specific local ice cream producer was manna bar a brief flirtation with the short lived Magnifico Cornetto. Now it's all about the Ben and Jerry's peanut butter cup.

"Another glorious sunny day can only mean one thing ~ it's ice cream time

You get to choose your 2 favourite ice creams ~ One from your childhood & one from the present.

Mine are:-

Childhood - a Screwball

Present - Magnum.

What are yours?

A 99 with raspberry sauce

And that funny thing, was it called an oyster? "

I asked for a 99 at an ice cream van and the young girl didn't know what I meant. I felt soooooo old.
