I would get down the doctors dude. When you say no sleep though do you at least get little periods?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Have you seen your doctor? Have you looked at your sleep hygiene? What's worrying you?

Grantham

Is there a particular reason like worry?

I sleep very badly and it affects me negatively but I am in pain when I lie down so I know the reason.

If you have had more than the started dose of sleeping tablets maybe they are being counter productive.

Try looking on the tube that's you for relaxation techniques that might help

The sleep I had was earlier hours of Monday last week so basically Tuesday I did have a hours sleep yesterday but my mobile woke me up ringing.

Yoga could be good for exercise and calming your mind. Both are helpful for sleep.

Avoid caffeine from the afternoon if you take it.

Check that there's no obvious cause - adjust your bedroom etc. See doctors if it continues and no known causes.

You need to get a sleeping routine going, Go to be at the same time and get up at the same time, See how that works for you

You can get an antihistamine called phenergan. You can buy it over the counter but they don't like giving it to you for sleep so say it's for travel sickness. That will knock you out xx

Avoid artificial light from television, computers, mobiles etc. This stops sleep hormone production.

They should be on silent or Do Not Disturb when you're in bed

Sleep hygiene: turn off all devices.

Go to the doctor. The two might be connected.

That's awful! You must feel so drained. I agree with those who said see your doctor. Are you taking any medication prescribed or otherwise?

Sleep hygiene isn't about keeping your body clean, although a bath before bed might help you. It's about cleaning up what you do. So, switch off the phone, don't look at screens, no caffeine and don't drink too much alcohol (it might make you fall asleep for a short while but will keep you up most of the night or give you fitful sleep).
