who would be your two fantasy picnic partners

Bore da fabbers , friends and forumites.

Oh what a beautiful morning oh what a beautiful day , I have a wonderful feeling ,,,, but less of the personal stuff.

Good gravy what a beautiful sunset last night. Pooch and I sauntered along the beach, the sea mill pond calm the sky crimson. We just sat a while and thought how lucky we are to witness such a spectacular vista.

So it's another sunny day. We are preparing to wander the Orme and bask in the sunshine.

I know some chums are off to work so sending you all a massive cwtch and we have booked the sun to stay until your return home.

It would be a marvellous day for a picnic. A lovely meadow and a gently flowing river. A hamper stuffed with delicious foodie goodies.

The picnic blanket is spread on the ground so our question is who would be your fantasy picnic partners?

Which two people would you ask to join you.

They can be celebrities', historical figures past and present.

Have a hoot and lashings of ginger beer

Taff and pooch

If we can have fantasy no longer on this mortal coil picnic capers, I pick Sir Thomas Moore and my paternal grandmother (never got the chance in real life, but I am assured she was a hoot).

If we have to pick still with us peeps, I shall take Dawn French and Pooch.

Why the former first minister to Henry VIII and Catholic martyr, Thomas Moore?"

Because, from what we can glean many centuries down the line, he was an interesting chap, stood by his _iews, stuck to his guns (to frankly ridiculously terminal levels) and wasn't afraid. Secondly, I want to ask him why he didn't just fib and say all was well with Henry's second marriage. Thirdly, I hear he made excellent salmon and cucumber sandwiches.
