Make sure the guests are well-vetted. Occasionally, we have come across some bad behaviour at parties and it does sour the atmosphere.

Make sure that any of your house rules are communicated in advance.

Getting the right balance of guests is most important. You want people who will be willing to play with each other. Having someone who is a 'party starter' is very good, otherwise it can be difficult to get people playing. It's ok to have a few people who don't play, but make sure this is balanced out by people who do play. Be aware that up to 50% of your guests will cancel a day or 2 before the event, so you need a large guest list to ensure there is an adequate size party. But if you have a core of reliable friends then the party will always go well however many people turn up. Send round robin emails to remind people there is a party. We usually PM people the up to date guest list at intervals.

Nothing worse than late comers. You want all your guest there and having got to know each before play starts, otherwise your're going to be answering the door in your underwear. We get around this problem by requesting people show up between 7.30 and 8.30 and that is usually respected.

Decide if you are happy for play to be in your lounge, as things can get messy, and some people may prefer a neutral place for relaxing without the pressure of play. Set up the play rooms and show people round, so they know where to go. You will need plastic sheets under your regular sheets which can be bought on Amazon. We prefer to remove duvets and pillows but we leave blankets and cushions out. Have towels and tissues a available. People will always bring there own condoms. Have lube out if you want.

We treat our parties like 'normal' parties, so people arrive, have a drink and a nibble and a chat. Other parties are more hard core, and that's personal preference.

The amount of people we have invited from the start of ridiculous! Always had some people messaging saying they can't come but it's been OK as it's getting to the number that would be OK out in our house. Still got more people than we should that have said they're coming so hopefully numbers shouldn't be an issue. Didn't think of the plastic covers thank you will get on that asap ! Xx

Another is neighbors. We always request that our guests don't make it obvious on arrival and departure that they are attending a sex party. Windows are an issue this time of year when it can be hot, but will probably need to be closed when play starts due to noise. Not much you can do about that, but fans may be a good idea if the forcast is hot weather.

And make sure people know where to park, so that they are not drawing attention to your party

Another thing I've thought of is having bins with a bag in and telling people to use them. That way at the end of the night you can just pick up the bag and dispose of all the condoms without having to pick them up of the floor and furniture with you hands.

Hi,

Some excellent advice from classy swingers.

Send out reminders, and get people to confirm they are coming.

You don't want to end up with an empty house.

If you are providing "booze" don't let people help themselves.

Some people over indulge, and then cant play.

Make your own bedroom "off limits".

That way, you can do a quick check of things, drop into bed, and clear up in the morning.

Have a great party

We personally don't mind our bedroom being used, and it's a decent size room. If we take that out of play then we are left with just the guest room, as we make the kids rooms out of bounds. We have our duvets and pillows to one side, and just do a quick sheet change before putting it back together at the end of the night.
