Which is best in your opinion in mine Blu ray looks best dvds are cheap now but dvds and blu ray can get a spek of dust or scratch and jump vhs after a long time constant watching start to jump but can't get scratched or Dusty

So i would say vhs

And sadly video players are not being made anymore now.

VHS go to bad quality eventually though. And if they go near magnets (speakers) they will become fucked up.

DVD is best, like you say they're cheap now.

"Betamax "

We had a Betamax, the picture quality was far more better than VHS, unfortunately VHS won the market share so Betamax kinda died, although the media did use them before the digital revolution.

I bought a brand new Sony one in 1984, cost me £450

Still had it 20 yrs later before it gave up the ghost

When blu ray came out, I didn't see much point at DVD was a great standard. Buy now my eyes have gotten used to watching so much HD, I pretty much enjoy watching blu ray more now.

agree

and nothing better than the simple press or the record button which we used to have, rather than all the hassle of setting up now a days

cd's are no better either, good to see vinyl coming back
