Do you think its safe to say Elvis is dead yet? He can't still be in that supermarket stacking shelves. Do you think Lord Lucan must have gone too by now? They discovered that missing canoeist pretty fast so Lord Lucan must be the best hide and seeker ever.

I think Walt Disney's preserved head is still barking out orders from the freezer though....

You clearly haven't seen the 'incredible' documentery/movie 'Bubba Ho-Tep'.

Basically Elvis didn't die, he changed places with an Elvis impersonator and is now living out his days in a nursing home. Unfortunately this isn't where the story ends as luck would have it some ancient dead Egyptian deity has chosen Elvis's care home as the portal to return back to humanity to wreak havoc and destruction upon the old people of the home. Elvis teams up with another resident and they battle the Egyptian entity.

Incidentally JFK is also at the nursing home.

True story.
