What is the best bit of advice, that you could offer to a complete stranger?

Mine is:

If you've done nothing wrong, Don't google your medical symptoms.

It works!

"Let it go. No, not the balloon!"

Something inside me wants to say "now grandad!"

I think I have my sitcom and movie quotes mixed up

Would you awfully mind it, if I asked you to elaborate?

Many thanks x

I'm not sure I'd solicit advice to a complete stranger.

Maybe something about it's gonna get chilly later, did you remember a jumper?

Dunno

This was picked up by Lhurman and despite it's legendary attribution to Kurt Vonnegut, it turns out the original perpetrator was a Chicago journalist, Mary Schmich...

That's a good point, about giving strangers advice, unless you're in a situation where it is 3 of you, coming from a different angle, at a mini roundabout.

Then it's politeness, followed by swiftness, then concluded with a shake of the head.

...any more than I'd be thankful of a complete stranger telling me what to do

If advice is so wonderful why are people so desperate to give it away?

I'd tell them not to listen to unsolicited advice from strangers.

For me, this has to be the best answer.

I almost feel embarrassed for asking the damn question in the first place!
