Fleabag -- BBC iplayer

Just caught up on this new series (it's 4 X 30min episodes in)......I'm already hooked. Hilarious with pathos. Like a little cookie of a show, an enjoyable nibble that fills you up just right.

I do have a quirky sense of humour though.

Anyone else enjoy it? (Or even watching it?)

I’ve still got this week’s episode to watch, it’s an incredible program - brilliantly written and she plays it perfectly.

I don’t canid she doesn’t write any more of that, just let them exist as tiny episodes of everything humour is about: sadness, difficulties, people and just getting through it

Every character , line, scene, the pieces to camera is brilliant.

As someone mentioned , covering love , lust, pain, sorrow, heartache and all, just genius.

Nah, they’ve said that it’s closure, no plans at all to continue

That is nearly perfect viewing , written so well it’s real and raw. Tears welling at the end . Beautiful .

Utterly brilliant series - I really enjoyed it, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a phenomenally talented writer and performer. I LOVE those little asides to camera that she does.

I was really disappointed to discover that the New York run of the play ends on Sunday - we fly to JFK on Monday.

I started a thread on Pose when it started. It's brilliant.

The other recommendation I'd give people is Chewing Gum. It may not be available now but is a younger, black, working class Fleabag.
