I don't suppose she said anything about punctuation, as that sentence was tricky to follow.

I think everyone has the ability to become irritating if you spend a lot of time with them. The trick is to overlook their issues and hope they overlook yours.

Cor ain't that the truth. I remember reading in one of DH Lawrence's novels that a woman had grown to hate the very way her husband walked across the floor, if you can still tolerate things like that you're on to a winner. I think Mr N tolerates my little "nuances" very well and is only rarely found weeping and stammering that he can stand no more
