Who drives the worst?

I'm being massively stereotypical here and I know not all drivers of the same type of car all drive like dicks... so don't take offence..but on average, which type get the most on your tits due to being inconsiderate?

BMW's

Audi's?

White vans? Etc

For me it has to be white vans.

(As I said, no offence as I'm considering getting a BMW and hope I'm not a dick driver)

I don't think there's a particular group that tends to produce more bad drivers. Though going with the flow with regards BMW drivers, just for the OP's benefit.

My pet hate is middle lane hoggers (especially lane 3 out of 4!), I see a mix of drivers doing that though, including professional drivers that take me to and from the airport on a regular basis.

Of all the places I've been though the worst drivers are the Russians. Maybe because mental traffic situations are relatively new to them. They drive like lunatics.

My pet hates:

Not indicating on the motorway (audi's / BMW's)

People who don't understand roundabouts (Nissan Micra's)

People driving up others ass when there's nowhere for them to go even if the person who's car is being bummed lets them passed. (White vans) (and BMW's)

Also nob heads slowly walking across the road and not giving a shit.

Strange how Jag / merc drivers don't seem to annoy as much as Audi / BMW!?

Bmw, Audi, Volvo and Mercedes in that rough order. Hogging lanes, aggressive driving, no indication and cutting others up. Have special driving tests and £100,000 bonds to drive these cars with permanent tracking and enforced castration for faults. 2 faults and it's public transport or walking for life.

Forgot about Range Rover drivers.

Was driving down a dual carriageway with signs for 400 yards saying that the right lane was closing. Everyone scootched over to the left in good time and at about 100 yards it was nose to nose traffic in the left lane.

Massive Land Rover decided to bomb it down the right then sneaking in. She put her window down and hurled abuse at me for not letting her in.

I just told asked why she was so special to not have to queue like everyone else.

I just use that to make sure my sunglasses are straight!! Factory tinted rear windows so no all that clear anyhow!! Anyway what's behind you is the past !!i probably waved as I overtook them and cut them up with no indication being the BMW driver that I am of course I have never driven any other car and obviously the manufacturer of the car makes me drive in a certain style!!

It has actually been off road and I have tested the xdrive system it's not a full time Chelsea tractor !! Not quite as good as the defender I drive but it did pleasantly suprise me for something with road tyres on

Nah power caps are completely useless even "supercaps" with high farad ratings are pointless, they don't deliver and need to be literally sat on top on the amp.

Few extra AGM or gel batteries, alternator upgrade to 180amp and all alternator wiring upgraded to 50mm cable is enough.

There's currently 16m of 50mm cable gone in so far

Have you seen the video with a Mercedes ML, an X5 and a Range Rover driving up a muddy hill?

The ML gets stuck straight away, the X5 makes it about 1/3rd of the way up, the Range Rover makes it 2/3rds of the way up. Then an old boy pootles past in an old Series 2 all the way to the top...

It's the ones in BMW and voluptuous estates. They seem to be in a gang they all have a blue and yellow kinda shiny stickers. They drive behind u flashing their lights intimidating you to pull over. I never do I won't encourage you to either. I heard the gang name is po lice . Silly name if u ask me

I don't personally.. like I said in the original post the type of car you drive doesn't necessarily denote the way you drive. But I would say it's safe to say that BMW's and the likes do seem to irritate a lot of other drivers.. that's accurate. Saying ALL BMW drivers drive like dicks isn't accurate.

I might start taking note of which cars park in disabled spots without blue badges.

Happens at my gym all the time and it gets massively on my nerves that ignorant people will park in one of only 2 disabled spots to be 10 yards closer to the entrance of the gym.. then they'll run 5 miles on the treadmill whilst someone who may need a disabled spot can't get a parking space.

Check out the butthurt BMW driver! Although to be fair Merc, Audi, Range Rover all fall in the same category. Most (not all) are the 'considerably richer than yaou!' types of new money wankers who feel the need to show that they have made it in life by buying a 'nice' car. Are these the ones with the kids in the back who they keep turning round to talk to instead of keeping their eyes on the road. Believing they are safe because they are driving below the speed limit, but lane drifting and not checking mirrors when on the motorway because they are so absorbed in their 'little darlings'. As a confirmed lunatic and madman I(T)consider myself an atrocious driver who breaks every rule and law whenever I can. However I have no points, have never had more than 4 awarded and never caused a bad accident (been a victim of a few however), never d*unk driven.

Whenever this subject arises it's the slow numpty Jazz/Micra/Skoda types who seem to get a lot of grief even to the point of being physically assaulted according to some news reports.

Narrrr.. I don't think most people on this thread are bitter they don't have a BMW / Audi. If they're annoyed it's by the style of others driving and not being bitter.

I think white van drivers are the main culprits and I'm not secretly thinking "oh I'm so envious of him driving that shitty old white van"

I don't think bmw or Audi can really be classed as a prestigious car to be bitter about. They are incredibly common, every other car I see is a 118/120/320 or an A4/A3

Even range rovers are all over, but I've got it on good authority that Range rovers pretty much don't sell many outright they're all financed up to the bollocks

The thing is a lot of people who regularly exceed speed limits intentionally are often very alert. They're more likely to check mirrors and signals as well as good looks all around to make sure there's no police. It's the numpties driving slow, while texting and not really paying attention who cause all of those disc warpingly good emergency braking moments.

I like the evoque, but the higher spec models are just full of gadgets you don't need. For 190bhp the performance isn't great either, I'd want a lot more if I was spending what they go for.

The top spec range rovers with the petrol engines are insane though! Easily outperform most cars on the road.
