So I'm being dragged to Ripon on Saturday.

Anyone got any tips, not horse racing tips , to maximise enjoyment?

Find the bar.

First race follow the form, second the trainer, 3rd the jockey, 4th the jockeys arse, 5th the horses arse, 6th who gives a fuck - too d*unk to care!

Never been to a horse racing meet, but used to enjoy a night at the dogs before they shut the Greyhound stadium down in Derby

I agree. Fantastic day out and now with many evening meetings some with concerts after its changing in to a great night out
