Unpopular view but bronze is second loser. Winning is everything.

He's a better gymnast than me I ain't gonna argue that but why celebrate a loser. Nobody celebrates losing in the cup semi final of rugby or football and who ever remembers who came third in any golf major. Answer noone.

Shout me down I know you will as I ain't got tits but you know I'm telling the truth

"I've been out all day so not been following the news and too lazy and tired to check,

As in now: 3-3-6.

.

Nervous for tonight's swimming finals.

The only medal chance for GB is the 200m breast - an open race.

I've wrote Andrew Willis chance pre-olympics, but we was impressive in the semi. Let see if he can medal.

Anyone who likes rugby or appreciates athleticism should watch James Davis in GB 7's vrs Agentina make one of the best tackles you'll ever see.

Well the tackle isn't amazing but it's the way he rolls into a ruck and then picks up the ball forcing the turnover on the try line. Incredible.

Knowing a young Olympian competing in their first olympics and walking away with a bronze medal. Any medal is the most amazing achievement. To be part of being the best in world after giving your whole life to a sport makes you incredible. There are hundreds trying to get those few places to compete for their country and the sense of pride that comes with that.

Told myself I'd sign up to an archery club after the London games... That never happened.

Been engrossed in the sport again these games, and this time, I'm gonna do it. Shooting is also very interesting, plus I found out today that the oldest shooting competitor was 57, and that these were his first games, so looks like I have plenty of time

Not only do these sports interest me a lot, but just to be part of the whole experience would be amazing. The only issue I have is choosing which country I'd represent, as I have 3 to choose from. Might go as an Independent

These have been the Olympics I've followed the most and with the keenest interest. In the past, I've not really paid much attention to the events before track and field starts but now I just can't get enough.

I've enjoyed and got into all the sports I've watched (and I've literally watched all of them), but I just can't get into the gymnastics, judo or boxing, because I don't understand the scoring and can't follow what's going on. Disappointed that they changed the boxing scoring system. I don't watch pro boxing but in past olympics I've been interested in it because of the simplified scoring method

"How do they get the dancing, prancing dressage horses to do such strange moves?

Years and years of dedicated training and practise- very proud watching that!

Was explaining how hard it is to teach a horse a flying change- then how much harder it is to teach them to do it every stride!

(For non equestrians - the bit across the diagonal where they appeared to skip!)

But how do you get the horse to do something that looks unnatural for them? Other horses don't suddenly start skipping or almost stop in mid-stride.

You can see film of horses in fields doing passage, pirouettes and extension just for fun!

It's about training and honing a natural ability, but it takes many years to perfect.

The rider uses their legs seat and weight as well as reins to send them the signals to do this, whilst all the time appearing to do nothing much. These people and horses really are at the apex- incredibly skilled and dedicated x

Some of the camera angles, particularly the ones from above, make the cyclists look like plastic toys.

Those wheels/tyres are so thin - it looks improbable.

This about sums it up.

When I used to ride in my youth I learnt how to do basic dressage & it's all about your seat, legs & heels.

Such a great feeling when the horse responds

Why has one member of team got a different designed shirt to the others?

for athletics it is tomorrow... they are doing the programme in the same order as the last olympics (so jess/kjt in the heptatlon, rutherford in the long jump and mo in the 10k...)

only difference this time.... is that they times in which they win the events should be in reverse.... so mo's event goes 1st, then gregs, and then jess and kjt in the heptathlon

Hebborn. Peaty, Guy, Scott vs Murphy, Miller, Phelps, Adrian

I predict 3:29.8 vs 3:28.5 - clean sweep of men relays by the US.

Getting pretty bored of the US national anthem now.

Here's a thought. If you're caught doping, whilst you serve your suspension everytime your country wins a medal your Eurovision tune gets played instead.

Surely an advance in the fight against drug cheats.

I think it's partly down to the fact that they have top notch training venues now thanks to the investment for London 2012. There was nothing near as good as the Lee Valley course for the canoeing and kayaking before.
