"what about sad songs..."
there is another thread about songs and some sad memories I think? I just wondered what made people happy...I have loads of songs I associate with great memories... Santana "Black Magic Woman" reminds me of a very happy albeit brief encounter one summer...

That don;t impress me much - Shania Twain is a song which will very soon become a song attached to a happy memory for me.. To be revealed later... in hopefully a couple of weeks as it will mean really good news!!

Chanson D'Amour - Manhattan Transfer March 1977. Liverpool beat St. Etienne of France 3-1 at Anfield with a great come back. We then went on to win the European Cup for the first time.

Make me smile (come up and see me).

Always reminds me of Christmas (since it was used in a Christmas advert once)

Rock around the clock.

One of my earliest memories was my mum teaching me to rock & roll and jive, to her favourite Bill Haley and his Comets.

I also remember my dad, helping me to stand on his feet then he danced me round the house to his favourite Nat 'King' Cole and Ella Fitzgerald records.

Happy memories.
