I want man friends

I've always preferred hanging out with men but when I hit a certain age they all seemed to disappear. Where do I find new man friends??!

Proper man friends I can banter with and go out with. Not men that pretend to like me because they just want a shag.

Gay guys straight guys bi guys any guys.

Same here.

Most went off and got partners and aren't allowed female friends now.

As Dee said, most men of my age aren't allowed to play out with women.

I used to hang out with a large group of guys, I was just 1 of the guys, nowt sexual too it, just beer, pool, music etc, as they found partners I got left out more and more as the gfs didn't like that there was a girl in the group.

Still good mates with some of them, the 1s who are single again or have more chilled out partners. Though these days most of us have sprogs so there's a lot less beer involved!

I'll be your man friend OP. No sex though, right.

I expect there'll be nose picking, arse scratching, burping and faring. Probably a bit of exploring orifices with the little finger. You know, the stuff real friends are comfortable doing in front of each other.

And as your friend, I promise not to criticise when you do any of those things.

I know what you mean. Used to go out with some of them without my husband or their wives. Our house used to look like the UN at the weekends during football season. We used to go to some posh places as one of his friends brother was a premiership footballer who played for Chelsea and would invite us along.

I prefer male company. My married male friends wives don't see me as a threat and I'm friends with them too. In January I'm off for two weeks to Sardinia with three friends, two are blokes...can't wait!

This is me exactly. Large group of male friends, some I have known 20 yrs plus. Much rather hang out with guys. Less drama. I've found having gorgeous female friends gets you friend zoned pretty quickly. I'm not complaining cos my friendships have lasted alot longer than the 'cooorr I fancy your mate' moment...

I get on well with men, my best male friend after Mr G, has a partner who knows we've been friends forever and she and Mr G have no issue with us going out together sometimes.

The ways I can think of are mostly sporty, road cycling clubs, tri club and golf are ways my female friends and I have met new male friends. Also via mutual friends. And just chance, I made a great one via a random Faceache moment. Or work as I work in a male dominated industry.

Hope you find some Scarlet.
