When i to settings/keyboard there Are three listed. One of them (The bortom one) is Norwegian.

I vant seem to be able to delete that or The USA one.

Any ideas?

all i found is that you can add keyboards, nothing to remove them. i googled "remove norwegian keyboard nokia 920"

hope this helps though, somehow.

Go to settings. You can reach this by swiping down from the top of the display and tapping the gear icon on the right.

Scroll down and look for language. If you do not recognize any of the menu items, there's a nice trick. Look for the time zone. It looks something like UTC -6:00. Language is the second item below that.

Tap the plus sign

Select your language and tap the check button at the bottom.

Tap the button above the list of languages to restart the phone.

Navigating through the menus should now be more manageable since it is now in a language you recognize. Next step is to go to settings, and then region. Select your country/region, and the regional format, and then tap the restart button.

You may also want to take a look at the keyboard settings. Does it have your preferred language? Do you want to add another language? Check in settings - keyboard.

Thanks. The language and time zone is ok. I reset those. Its just that The keyboard is set up as Norwegian which means The predictive text is coming up With norgy words all The time!

i'm guessing you got it second hand and the person used norwegian?

the more you use the phone the more it will recgnise your words as usual and prioritise those. right now it's predicting norwegian as usual.

i can go see if there's anything to change this though, like a way to wipe predictive text memory or something?

I think exactly that now. You can have endless keyboards (as ive just sdded another). What i vant seem to do is delete them from my 'ready use' if you get what i mean.

you're welcome.

most phones are too complicated now and come with preinstalled apps that i'll never use that take up memory.

i feel like going back to the samsung days before everything was touchscreen, had some great phones then that i knew how to use.

"Jeg er ikke sikker , kan du bli skrudd. Kjøp en ny telefon?"

Does that translate as, "I'm off out now to buy a Norwegian Blue parrot"
