I used a set of jump leads as a tie once to get into a night club. The bouncer let me in on the promise I wound start anything.

Police caught two lads, one had eaten a set of jump leads, the other a box of fireworks.

They charged one and let the other one off.

If your battery went flat from just charging your phone and playing the radio for an hour or so, then I'd get a new battery as soon as.

I always carry jump leads and a battery booster pack in the boot, but I'm nowhere near you.

Good luck - suggest you get some jump leads at the next Halfrauds or whatever

If they're passing they shouldn't be on their 'phone to be able to read this!

Might not be the battery.

Might be the alternator.

Best get it tested first!

Be careful if using jump leads, I've had Mercedes come out to try and switch the radio off and they asked have I ever used them?

I replied, once to start a vehicle.. he said never say that to anyone ever again, as it can fuck up the electrics and might not be covered..

So, that's my advice..

Harry

Rugeley

Using jumps should cause no problem as long as they are connected correct. Get it wrong and I expect today's delicate cars couldn't cope.
