The reason I ask is because I was on the tube in London last summer and a girl sat opposite me. She kept glancing at me and smiling whilst looking down, when she saw me looking down she opened her legs and exposed her smooth pussy......then got off at the next station

I was dropping the kids off to J at work two weeks ago and my little one jumped up on her. In the process J dress got pulled up at the front showing off her hold ups and shocking pink knickers. I pissed myself laughing as J was mortified that the security guard got a view of her.

Fascinating how perceptions differ depending on what gender is doing the flashing. Even being aware of the double standard here I feel exactly the same way, that the idea of a man flashing is repellent and I'd actively seek their prosecution, whereas the idea of a lady flashing is awesome as fuck. We're strange creatures, we humans.

Personally I find both equally reprehensible unless pre arranged. Women can't ask to be treated equally under certain circumstances only and non consensual sexual activity is never ok...is it?

I have been flashed at twice, once by a man in an alley. It was NOT funny, it was very frightening, I had my baby with me, clearly the man was a pervert. Second time a naked man standing on a window still taping on window.

Flashing is never acceptable.

If you flash at people you are a pervert, sorry but you are.

And a lot of men would be upset and embarrassed to have breasts flashed at them.

Grow up you lot, don't inflict your sexual behaviour on the general public.

A woman flashed her pussy at Mr N in a cafe once and when he moved so he didn't have to look she repositioned herself so he could still see her. The arrogance of assuming that anyone wants to see you is breathtaking.

Whilst I find your and nice couple's post on here kinda refreshing in its gender unbiased nature I have to disagree with the assumption that men are really as distressed as you say at being flashed.

If a man flashes a woman then I can see that she could feel scared, intimidated, disgusted and any number of negative emotions.

Now as a man, being flashed by a woman, even by one who I don't find attractive would not anger or disgust me in any way. Any emotions I felt would probably be positive.

So I think in this case the gender stereotypes ring true.

Unless other guys disagree?

My own personal view is that anyone flashing a stranger or someone who might be upset or offended by it, in public, is wrong.

It's a way to get on a register of sex offenders, which is not my idea of a good time.

Keep these things to appropriate times and places.

Surely there are enough ways to get sexual kicks without dragging potentially unwilling strangers into it?

My main point is that in my opinion non consensual sexual activity can never be acceptable regardless of gender, maybe you disagree and feel that there are degrees of non consent.

Yeah, Nice Couple..I do agree in principal with what you and Dee say.

It should be one rule for everyone and of course I agree strongly that men should not be exposing their bits and pieces especially in a state of arousal to girls and women. It's abhorrent behaviour.

But i genuinely wouldn't feel the same way if I...or a male friend...or even my son (who by the way is of age) were flashed by a woman.

It may or may not be a turn on but in any case I wouldn't be threatened by it.

Which is perhaps the key thing I guess?

The second time ona Sunday morning on way to park with pushchair by a young lad. I sent then hubby after him and he denied it. Should have reported him to police. Fucking not on at all.

I think you're rather twisting the point here, you seem to WANT to be outraged. I'm merely making a point about how differently we perceive the same actions based on the gender of the protagonist. And, frankly, I don't believe for one minute that you genuinely think that, say, a girl flashing her tits at a passing motorist is as bad as a man exposing his cock to a woman in a park. It should be, sure. We shouldn't treat men and women differently like that. But the fact is, and the point I'm trying to make is, WE DO.

I don't perceive them as different, so speak for yourself with the WE DO.

I don't think boobs are the same as a cock but I certainly think that a woman flashing her fanny is as bad as a man flashing his cock.

The key thing with any sexual activity is to ensure consent first in my opinion, once we go down the road of "my friends and I find it acceptable and non threatening so everyone else should" I think we set a dangerous precedent.

I absolutely understand what you're saying though and I know it's how most people think I just don't agree with it.

once we go down the path of accepting that none consensual exposure is ok because he is a 'lad' and not threatened then we are on a slippery slope..

I do speak for myself, but I'm also confident that I speak for 99% of the heterosexual male population. And probably a sizeable handful of the female population too, as supported by the anecdotal evidence of the stories related by ladies on this very thread.

Again, I'm not talking about rights and wrongs, and we absolutely can't talk in absolutes here. A point you've conceded yourself, by admitting there's a distinction between breasts and penises

No, I haven't conceded anything.

Breasts are not comparable to cocks. Fannies are comparable to cocks as they're both sexual organs.

Breasts are comparable to men's chests. They're only made sexual organs by men. They're actually for feeding children, primarily, believe it or not!

People trying to make out that breasts are like cocks are one of the reasons women breastfeeding in public have such a hard time.

Flashing breasts for a sexual thrill isn't right but it's not the same as flashing fannies or cocks.

It's not okay. I was once late for work because a woman in the street was flashed and she was absolutely inconsolable, was horrible.

At the end of the day, you have no idea what someone has been through and you have no idea how this would affect them. Not really worth it for a cheap thrill.

I listened to an interesting program on radio 4 the or her day apparently women who are subject to sexual assault by other women aren't reporting it because they think they won't be taken seriously I think this thread bears their fears out.

Yeah good point, not something I've thought about.

This happened to me when I was a lot younger, she would touch & make inappropriate comments to me. Was done in such a brazen upfront way, "a bit of banter / fun " that it messed with my head, I doubted myself at times that she was actually doing it.....

Ive been flashed twice, once on rugby tour when i was younger by a women but i was with lots of people so was funny, the second time on my way home from work and some women drove past and flashed her tits out at me and drove really slowly, i did feel abit on edge but also horny.. so flashing is risky stuff
