Forum posts?

A...Do you read the heading and the OP and then respond without reading the rest of the thread?

B... do you read the whole post and then respond?

C... do you read the header and then skip right to the last post and work your way back?

Or a combination of the 3?

I usually go for B but occasionally C

B - no point in posting a comment if somebody else has already said it, other than to give it a

If it's asking a question I read through to see if anyone has answered.

If it's asking for an opinion I skip to the end and give mine regardless of whether anyone has said it before.

Generally D for me: Read the heading, skip over who is the OP, read the whole thread, decide not to post anything.

This post A, as my answer will be the same regardless of others comments, usually B to avoid repeating others answers, and also to expand on my own if other's have raised a point or different angle on it that I'd not thought of.
